Jazz 5.HEIC

Jazz 5 (Ages 10.5+)

Mondays 5:00 - 6:00 pm

​

Jazz 5 is an advanced beginner through intermediate course focusing on basic jazz technique, with a full warm-up followed by working across the floor and combinations. 

​

Note: Age requirement as of September 1st.

Tap 5 (Ages 10.5+)

Mondays 6:00 - 7:00 pm

​

Tap dance is characterized by using the sounds of tap shoes striking the floor as a form of percussion. The sound is made by shoes that have a metal "tap" on the heel and toe. Classes will explore several
styles of tap dance, including rhythm, classical, and Broadway.

 

Tap 5 is for advanced beginner through intermediate students.

Modern 5 (Ages 10.5+)

Thursdays 7:00 - 8:00 pm

Modern dance developed as a response to the restrictions of classical ballet. 

 

Modern 5 is an introductory course based on the Limon technique. 

​

Get ready to move and get funky with the Hip-Hop classes. Hip-Hop is
seen in popular music videos. You will learn various styles including Hip-Hop, Popping, Locking, Wacking, and House.

Drawing on concepts from Pilates and Yoga, this class is designed to help create long, lean, strong muscles and provide the cross training that today's dancers need. Primary focus will be on the core muscles of the abdomen and back with additional upper
body and leg exercises. Conditioning class

is recommended for all dancers ages 11 and up.

Girls: burgundy leotard, pink convertible tights, pink ballet shoes, hair in a clean bun

Boys: white leotard or fitted t-shirt tucked in, black tights, white socks, white ballet shoes

 

Tap

Girls: burgandy leotard, pink/black tights, black tap shoes, hair in a clean bun or ponytail, black jazz pants/shorts optional

Boys: white t-shirt, black shorts or jazz pants, white socks, black tap shoes

 

Jazz

Girls: burgandy leotard, pink/black tights, non-marking black jazz shoes, hair in a clean bun or ponytail, black jazz pants/shorts optional

hair secured away from face, no bare midriffs

If you are a first time student joining our 2025 - 2026 season, you will receive a special Tote Bag filled with goodies (after your free trial class and included in your registration fee) such as a leotard, tights, and bun making kit.

You will also be sized for shoes at the studio. â€‹
