Meet The Teachers

Megan Logee - Director

Megan brings 28 years of teaching experience to Blossom & Grow, including nearly two decades as a full-time instructor at Carroll County Dance Center & Ballet Conservatory since 2007. She holds a BFA in Dance Performance & Education, and with educators throughout her family, teaching has always felt like home.

"I hope that students remember my class as being a safe place to explore the world of the arts and be creative," Megan shares.

What she loves most about teaching little ones? Their imaginations and freedom of creativity.

She's especially drawn to the small, unprompted moments of kindness between students, a helping hand, a kind word, that remind her why she loves this age group!

Lisa Irvine - Lead Teacher

Lisa grew up in Middleburg, Virginia, where she trained at In Motion, the Russell School of Ballet, and the School of American Ballet before dancing professionally with Pacific Northwest Ballet and companies in Richmond and Greensboro.

She holds a degree in Dance from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and a degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of Phoenix, and brings more than 25 years of teaching experience to Blossom & Grow.

"I hope my students remember that I always believed in them and encouraged them to believe in themselves," Lisa shares.

What she loves most about teaching little ones? Watching their curiosity turn into confidence, one new discovery at a time.

She's especially drawn to the funny, unfiltered things kids say in class, the moments that remind her to slow down and find joy in the little things too!

Lily Bott - Assistant Teacher

Lily's history with CCDC goes back nearly 18 years, starting as a student in Mommy & Me classes. She's danced at the studio ever since, later becoming a summer camp assistant and now a full CCDC instructor specializing in ballet, tap, and jazz for ages 3–10.

Her teaching style has been shaped by the many wonderful CCDC teachers she's learned from over the years, as well as her experience volunteering with Girl Scout day camp, where she developed a love for working with young children.

"I hope kids remember having a fun time but still feel like they learned something," Lily shares.

Whether that grows into a lifelong love of the arts or simply a favorite hobby, she wants every child to leave with a love of creativity!
