Ballet Intensive
Inna Stabrova, voted Best Teacher at Youth America Grand Prix in Chicago, graduate of the Kirov School in St. Petersburg and dance faculty member of the University of Akron in Ohio, along with Dimitriy Tuboltsev, graduate from both the Vaganova State Academy of Ballet and Choreography in St. Petersburg and the Kazakhstan National Ballet Academy, and received his Master Degree of Teaching and Choreography at the Institute of State Theatrical Arts, will join CCDC Director Sandra Woods and faculty members Megan Logee and Dmitri Malikov in the summer Ballet Intensive for intermediate and advanced students. Students will receive ballet class daily, as well as pointe, variations, modern, jazz, yoga, pilates and more. Students will learn classical and contemporary repertory, with a performance at the end of each week. Placement will be determined on the first day of class. Students may sign up for private classes from the master teachers as well. This Ballet Intensive is an excellent alternative to traveling to expensive out-of-state programs where classes typically have 30-60 students in them and teachers change so frequently it is difficult to establish training consistency. Classes are limited in size, and enrollment is based on a first come first served basis.
