Desiree Dantona

Desiree Dantona received her early training at the Waconia Performing Arts Center in Waconia, Minnesota and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Dance from the University of Minnesota.  While in Minneapolis, Desiree enjoyed expanding her knowledge of performance art by attending a jazz intensive with Decidedly Jazz Danceworks in Alberta, Canada, touring with Saint Paul City Ballet’s Enticed and studying under local choreographers such as Mathew Janczewski, Carl Flink, Joanie Smith, Toni Pierce-Sands and Ananya Chatterjea.  Desiree has been teaching for 9 years and danced with contemporary jazz company Eclectic Edge Ensemble for 5 years.  She recently moved to Baltimore and is a new member of contemporary dance company Dance and Bmore.
